FilmFunds Buys 3-D Firm Duran Duboi U.S.

With the demise of Quinta Industries, which owned vfx firm Duran Duboi, the assets of the vfx firm have gone up for sale. L.A.-based production firm FilmFunds has purchased the company's California-based 3-D conversion house and has put in a bid to buy the Paris-based vfx arm as well, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
