Zoic Scores Big with Seven VES Nominations

Zoic Studios, an award-winning visual effects company headquartered in Culver City, CA, has received multiple nods for its exceptional visual effects work with seven nominations for the 10th Annual Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards. Chosen January 7, 2012 by distinguished panels of VES members, the award nominations reflect outstanding visual effects artistry throughout multiple categories over the past year. Zoic Studios’ celebrated work is reflected with nominations across both the television and commercial categories.

From the paranormal happenings of fan favorite Fringe to the post-alien invasion landscape of Falling Skies to the fairytale world of the new hit series Once Upon a Time, Zoic Studios received an outstanding six nominations for its cutting edge work with virtual characters and sets on some of television’s most recognizable series. These nods placed Zoic as the top company across the television categories. In the commercial division, Zoic Studios gained notice for the action-packed Any World: Jeep Call of Duty MW3 spot that seamlessly melded reality with the world of the hugely popular video game.
