Zinkia Partners With Langer Juice Co. On National Pocoyo Promotion

Zinkia Entertainment, the creators of the award-winning children’s entertainment property POCOYO, are partnering with Langer Juice Company on a nationwide promotional campaign in August that provides consumers with the opportunity to receive a free Dance, Pocoyo, Dance! DVD with the purchase of every 10 Langer’s juice bottles.

Los Angeles, CA, May 9, 2011: Zinkia Entertainment, the creators of the award-winning children’s entertainment property POCOYO, are partnering with Langer Juice Company on a nationwide promotional campaign in August that provides consumers with the opportunity to receive a free Dance, Pocoyo, Dance! DVD with the purchase of every 10 Langer’s juice bottles.  The promotional partnership was announced today by Maria Doolan, Managing Director, Brand & Business Development, Zinkia Entertainment and Bruce Langer, Vice President, Langers Juice Company.

“Our promotional partnership with family-owned Langer Juice Company provides incredible U.S. exposure for the POCOYO brand, as well as a valuable association with a trusted and popular consumer product,” said Doolan.  “We look forward to working with Langer Juice Company on what promises to be an mutually beneficial promotion.”

“The Pocoyo entertainment brand reaches the family consumer base that is tantamount to Langer’s success in the national marketplace,” added Langer.  “We’re pleased to offer this engaging and entertaining DVD to the young families who enjoy our juices.” According to the terms of the promotional partnership, consumers purchasing 10 specially labeled bottles of Langers Juice between August 1 and 31, 2011, will receive a free POCOYO DVD, Dance, Pocoyo, Dance! (NCircle Entertainment), via a mail-in offer.

Langer Juice will ship 1.5 million of these specially labeled bottles, encompassing such kid-friendly juice flavors as orange, red grape, white grape, grape with vitamin C, and pineapple, to nationwide retailers including WalMart, Albertsons, Econo Foods, Food 4 Less, Lucky, Market Basket, Miners, Ralphs, Smart & Final, Sprouts, and Staters, among others.  The agreement also includes exposure for POCOYO on the Langer Juice website home page and on its Facebook and Twitter home pages. The animated series POCOYO brings children into the bright and colorful world of an inquisitive three-year-old boy and his animal friends, Elly (the elephant), Pato (the duck), and Loula (the dog).

This international smash hit series has been broadcast in over 120 countries worldwide and currently airs in the U.S. onNick Jr. every day at 4:25 pm Eastern/1:25 pm Pacific; on Univision’s Planeta U on Saturday mornings at 8:30 am; and on PBS stations (check local listings).
