Is Your Favorite VFX-Driven Show on the Bubble?

It’s that time of year when TV networks must decide whether or not they will be renewing series on the bubble.

It’s that time of year when TV networks must decide whether or not they will be renewing series on the bubble. THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER broke down the odds of some of the series on the verge of riding off into the sunset.

ABC’s FLASHFORWARD is unlikely to get a second season after its numbers after a four-month break have been weak. However, V returned after its break to solid numbers and will most likely return in the fall.

NBC’s HEROES, which many fans have felt never lived up to the potential of the first season, is certainly teetering. NBC would like to have a final season to the superhero series, but the series’ low ratings put it on the chopping block if the network believes its pilots have a better chance at higher ratings. CHUCK on the other hand seems certain to return. The network’s TRAUMA was lucky to come back for a second season, but it won’t be back for a third.

FOX is considering whether to bring freshman series HUMAN TARGET back for another round. Its ratings are soft, but strong enough for FOX to feel comfortable with it in its current Wednesday timeslot.

For CBS, COLD CASE and NUMBERS are unlikely to be picked up again. GHOST WHISPERER and MEDIUM are also on the bubble.
