Sony has hired KUNG FU PANDA writers Cyrus Voris and Ethan Reiff to pen a sequel to the KARATE KID remake, reports Heat Vision. While the plot is being kept secret, word has the film taking a cue from the sequel to the original KARATE KID, which flipped the setting. With the remake set in China, the remake's sequel could move the action to the U.S. Will Smith and Overbrook Ent. partners James Lassiter and Ken Stovitz are the producers.

Cyrus Voris and Ethan Reiff are two of the biggest ego maniacal Douche Nozzles you will ever meet in hollywood.... Talentless to boot. They were let go from Kung Fu Panda, so its a bit unfair to attribute that films success to them, since they had little or nothing to do with the final script.

Douches.
