Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Debuts on Nick Jr.

WOW! WOW! WUBBZY! launched across several media platforms, migrated to TV on Nick Jr. on Aug. 28, 2006. The 26-episode whimsical, animated preschool comedy starring three offbeat friends who use cooperation, creativity and humor to solve everyday kid problems, debuted with a roadblock on Nick Jr. and sister network NOGGIN on Monday with two back-to-back episodes from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The series will air regularly on Nick Jr. weekdays at 11:30 am.

WOW! WOW! WUBBZY!, created by Bob Boyle, stars a curious little guy named Wubbzy and his two pals, Widget and Walden, who live in the mythical city of Wuzzleburg. Wubbzy wants to have fun and spend his time chasing flutterflys, eating ice cream and playing hippity-hopscotch. When he runs into everyday kid problems, he calls on his friends for help and advice. Widget is a mechanical whiz with a fix-it shop and is always ready to lend a hand. She loves to build something big and complicated, but her inventions don't always work. Walden is a quirky scientist who finds great wisdom in everything from ancient philosophy to tarot card reading. He has a passionate curiosity and a unique way of looking at the world, but his brainy approach doesnt always produce practical results.

Each half-hour episode of this Flash-animated series features two, 10-minute adventures with Wubbzy, Widget and Walden. The themes of the day are reinforced through a direct-to-camera segment where the characters address the preschoolers at home, followed by an original music video.

WOW! WOW! WUBBZY! is a Bolder Media for Boys and Girls production in association with IDT/Film Roman. Susan Miller of Bolder Media Inc. and Mixed Media Group and Fred Seibert of Bolder Media Inc. and Frederator Studios, are also exec producers.

Producer on the first episode is Andrea Romero and director is Brian Hogan with writer Frederick Stroppel. Greg De Lisle is the voice of Wubbzy, Lara Jill Miller is Widget and Carlos Alazraqui is Walden.
