Contrary to LatioReview's report that Australian actress Robin McLeavy had landed the role, The Hollywood Reporter writes that Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been hired to play Mary Todd in ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER. The part is the love interest and eventual life to the 16th president. She joins Benjamin Walker, Dominic Cooper and Anthony Mackie. Director Timur Bekmambetov is working from a script by the book's author Seth Graham-Smith. 20th Century Fox will put the film in theaters on June 22, 2012.
