HD video and VFX editor Bob Williamson has joined Encore Hollywood just in time to complete final post work on the CBS-TV series JAG. He joins a team of senior editors at Encore that also includes Rob Williams, Paul Bonnette, Mark Sherman, Jonathan Slater and Michael Hutchison.

Williamson was on staff at Hollywood Digital for two years. "It is the most challenging show that I have worked on," Williamson said. "Each week, our task is to prepare two streams of a show that is packed with action and visual effects, and employs significant stock elements. There is a new challenge every time I walk in the door." Williamson used a Discreet Fire system to prepare HD masters of THE SOPRANO'S third season, marking one of the first times that an American episodic program, shot on film, was conformed in 1080/24p high definition.

Additionally, Williamson has extensive experience in commercial post-production, including three years at Optimus, Chicago, where his clients included the Midwest's leading advertising agencies. For more information on Encore Hollywood call (323) 466-7663 or visit www.encorehollywood.com.
