Williams Doc to Screen at Starz Fest

The untold story of the greatest animated film never made premieres at the Starz Denver Film Festival.

Feature documentary Persistence of Visio n is about the acclaimed visionary animator Richard Williams -- three-time Oscar-winner and the man who made possible Who Framed Roger Rabbit -- and his quest to make the greatest animated film of all time.

Williams spent nearly three decades toiling away on this supposed masterpiece, only to have his beloved passion project torn from his hands and savagely re-cut into something entirely different. Directed by Kevin Schreck, Persistence of Vision documents the untold story of the greatest animated film never made.

The film will have its U.S. premiere at the Starz Denver Film Festival next week, November 3rd and 4th, along with its East Coast premiere at this year's DOC NYC film festival, on Friday, November 9, at SVA. Persistence of Vision will also have its European premiere at the Leeds International Film Festival on November 14, with additional festival dates to be announced.
