Independent animation studio Wild Brain, Inc. has signed a co-production and development deal with Denmark's Egmont Imagination. The first co-production between the two companies is a 26 x 30' CG-animated series VANILLA PUDDING. The series will feature a quirky little girl who imagines herself as a superhero to handle the trials and tribulations of growing up. VANILLA PUDDING was created by in-house Wild Brain director Nicholas Weigel, with the pilot script penned by Emmy Award winner Sherri Stoner (TINY TOONS, ANIMANIACS, CASPER). "We're very excited about working with Egmont Imagination, which has a great production and distribution track record internationally," commented Jeff Ulin, CEO of Wild Brain. "Together we already have major European networks on board with the development phase. It's quite special when a property has such cross-over appeal and attracts global interest even before production starts." VANILLA PUDDING marks Wild Brains first U.S. series development commitment. Tatiana Kober, managing director, Egmont Imagination UK Ltd., will oversee international distribution of the series through Egmont's London-based sales team.
