WIA to Present ‘Creating Characters’ August 13

As part of Women In Animation’s series of panels on professional development, six top writers, character designers and voice actors discuss their methods for creating characters.

LOS ANGELES -- Women In Animation, the professional, non-profit organization for women involved in all aspects of the animation industry, will be hosting the next event in its series of panels on professional development with “Creating Characters.”

Presenting six top writers, character designers and voice actors, the event will be held on Wednesday August 13, at 6:30p.m. at the Animation Guild in Burbank CA.

Six top writers, character designers, and voice actors will discuss their methods for creating characters, how their tasks and methods both overlap and differ, and how what they do affects the shows and films they're working on. Panelists include: Gregg Berger, Debi Derryberry, Charlotte Fullerton, Steve E. Gordon, Craig Miller and Linda Miller

Doors open at 6:30 pm for a networking mixer with light refreshments. The panel will begin at 7:00 pm.
