Watch: Marvel Releases New ‘Ant-Man’ TV Spot, Poster & Images

New television ad for Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man’ reveals additional footage, showcasing the film’s humorous edge but still packed with plenty of action.

Marvel has just released a new TV spot and poster for Ant-Man, along with a handful of stills, and they’re pretty fantastic.

Releasing into theaters on July 17, Ant-Man is directed by Peyton Reed and produced by Kevin Feige from a script written by Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish. Wright was set to direct the highly-anticipated feature, but exited the project last May.

The new television ad shows off a little more footage than the previous trailer, showcasing the film’s humorous edge but still packed with plenty of action. Check it out in the player below:

The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man.” Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
