WATCH: DreamWorks Animation Unveils First Trailer for ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’

Directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carlon, ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ arrives in theaters on January 29, 2016.

DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox have just released the first official trailer for the highly anticipated feature, Kung Fu Panda 3.

Directed by Jennifer Yuh and Alessandro Carloni, Kung Fu Panda 3 finds Po (Jack Black) stumbling upon his father Li (Bryan Cranston), who reveals to him the existence of a community of pandas living in secret.

Here’s the synopsis:

In 2016, one of the most successful animated franchises in the world returns with its biggest comedy adventure yet, KUNG FU PANDA 3. When Po’s long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible—learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!

Written by written by Jonathan Abel and Glenn Berger, Kung Fu Panda 3 also features the voices of Rebel Wilson as Mei Mei, Angelina Jolie as Tigress, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Seth Rogen as Mantis, David Cross as Crane and Lucy Liu as Viper, with Dustin Hoffman reprising his role as Warrior trainer Master Shifu. James Hong and Randall Duk Kim also star.

Kung Fu Panda 3 opens in theaters in 3D on January 29, 2016.
