Warner Bros. has launched a highly immersive Website to promote their upcoming live-action/animated feature OSMOSIS JONES at www.osmosisjones.com. Opening in the U.S. on August 10, the feature film teams a white blood cell and pill in a race to destroy a lethal virus that has infiltrated the body of Frank Detorri. Visitors to the film's site who select game mode will sign on as cops on the same immunity police force that employs Officer Osmosis, chasing down a lethal virus through the City of Frank, investigating suspects and tackling games of skill in a special arcade. The tour mode, narrated by the City of Franks own Mayor Phlegmming, will be guided through the City, paralleling the film's story. Piet Kroon, co-animation director for the film, said, "This imaginative site takes the OSMOSIS JONES concept and runs riot with it. Its everything you always wanted to know about the body and, as in the movie, a bunch of things youd maybe rather not know about. Tom Sito, co-animation director, said, "The site has humor, great graphics and Flash animation. The game really captures the world and spirit of the movie. It was the most fun Ive had since disrupting my homeroom with my armpit rendition of 'In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida.'" The actors lending their voiced to the film include Chris Rock, Laurence Fishburne, David Hyde Pierce, Brandy Norwood and William Shatner.
