Warner Bros. Celebrates Holidays with Bah, Humduck & Grinch

Warner Home Video (WHV) is getting in the holiday spirit with the recent releases of BAH, HUMDUCK! A LOONEY TUNES CHRISTMAS and a re-mastered deluxe edition HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS. Both titles will retail at $19.98.

In the made-for-video BAH, HUMDUCK, Daffy Duck stars as the "Scrooge-like" proprietor of the "Lucky Duck" mega-mart. To take financial advantage of last minute shoppers, Daffy demands that his employees, including his long-suffering manager, Porky Pig, work on Christmas Day instead of spending the holiday with their families. It's up to Bugs Bunny and the ghosts of Christmas past (Tweety and Granny), present (Yosemite Sam) and future (Taz) to make sure that Daffy realizes the error of his ways and save Christmas for the Looney Tunes gang.

"The LOONEY TUNES characters have been revered by generations. We think both kids and adults will love this hilarious adaptation of the timeless Dickens story. It's the kind of film which families will want to make part of their holiday traditions," commented Dorinda Marticorena, WHV vp, kids and sports marketing. "The first three volumes of LOONEY TUNES GOLDEN COLLECTION have been enormous hits amongst consumers, and we anticipate this new title to be well received by both new and existing LOONEY TUNES fans."

BAH, HUMDUCK! A LOONEY TUNES CHRISTMAS features a score by Grammy Award-winning and three-time Emmy Award-winning composer, Gordon Goodwin. Goodwin most recently earned a Grammy Award in the "Best Instrumental Arrangement" category for his work on THE INCREDIBLES soundtrack.

An on-air broadcast of BAH, HUMDUCK! A LOONEY TUNES CHRISTMAS is planned for winter 2006 on the Cartoon Network.

HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! Deluxe Edition is newly re-mastered and features brand new collectable packaging, all new extra content and HORTON HEARS A WHO.

HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! was originally adapted to television as an animated TV special. It has been re-broadcast numerous times since its debut, with annual airings continuing to the present day. The original book was first published in 1957 and was considered among one of Dr. Seuss' finest works for children.

"HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! is one of the best-known children's books by Dr. Seuss. Generations of viewers have grown up with this holiday classic. The story is great, the animation stands the test of time and the narration and songs are wonderful," commented Marticorena. "This film is gorgeously crafted by master animator Chuck Jones, and Boris Karloff's recitation sparkles with wit and depth. We are delighted to offer consumers a re-mastered version of this beautiful film in honor of its 50th anniversary."
