There's even greater success on the cards, and socks, hats and gloves, for THUMB WRESTLING FEDERATION: with more licensees signing on.

TWF is the TV series turned playground craze airs in the US on Kids WB! and in the UK on BBC One, BBC Two and the CBBC channel.

The BBC has bought all three finished seasons of the series, while the fourth is beginning production.

TWF was created by Animation Collective, the leading independent creator of children's entertainment in the US and licensed by Bulldog Licensing.

Latest licensees to clamber into the ring are Danilo, who will be producing a line of greeting cards and calendars, and Roy Lowe and Sons, who will be helping fans wrap up warm with a range of socks, gloves, hats and scarves.

They join Sambro, who are creating a range of thumb wrestler masks and rings, and Aykroyds TDP's range of nightwear and underwear, as well as a range of adult-focused T-shirts.

TWF features hilarious, action-packed bouts of thumb wrestling between truly zany contestants.

The short-format segments include one-minute wrestler bios, 45-second gags, and three-and-a-half-minute thumb wrestling matches.

The competition revolves around 36 original characters who fight for two teams -- the "Mighty Dexteras" and the "Sinistras -- in a match-up of good versus evil.
