In an interview with MTV from Sundance, Don Cheadle said that Marvel has hired a writer for a WAR MACHINE spin-off film. He didn't give names, but did say the project is in development. He also added that his character from IRON MAN 2 will not be making a cameo appearance in Joss Whedon's THE AVENGERS, but would be back for IRON MAN 3.
