Vue 6 Announced

e-on software announced the forthcoming release of the sixth generation of Vue, its award-winning solution for natural 3D environments. Vue 6 Infinite will be previewed at SIGGRAPH 2006 in Boston, Aug. 1-3 (booth #1828).

Vue 6 is based on an entirely redesigned architecture to provide users with more power, improved workflow and increased productivity.

Here are a couple of examples of the more than150 new features included in Vue 6 Infinite:

* Introduced in Vue 5 Infinite, the EcoSystem Technology is widely recognized as a revolution in the 3D Industry. With Vue 6 Infinite's new EcoSystem Generation II technology, we're pushing the limits of natural 3D environment creation even further.

* Also new in Vue 6 Infinite are the Spectral Atmosphere model and the MetaCloud technologies for extremely realistic cloudscapes.

Vue 6 xStream & Infinite will be available in English for Macintosh OS X and Windows 2000/XP. Vue 6 xStream & Infinite will be released simultaneously as a 32 and 64 bit application. They are optimized for Power PC, Intel Macs and Windows XP64. Vue 6 xStream & Infinite will be available either as node-locked or floating licenses.

Vue 6 Pro Studio, Esprit and Easel will be available in English, French, German and Japanese, for Macintosh OS X and Windows 2000/XP. Vue 6 Pro Studio, Esprit and Easel are 32-bit applications optimized for Power PC and Intel Macs.

The complete Vue 6 line of products is scheduled for release in Q3 2006.

Users who purchase Vue 5 (any version) between July 1 and Aug. 3, will get the upgrade to the corresponding Vue 6 product free of charge (download version, node-locked). Check www.e-onsoftware.com/vue6 for further information.
