Vue 5 Easel Now Shipping

e-on software announced the immediate availability of Vue 5 Easel, the new entry level version of its award winning Vue product line. Vue 5 Easel will be retailing at $99 for physical products and $89 for electronic download versions with an introductory price tag of $79. At the same time, e-on software also announces an aggressive price drop on the Esprit product line for a limited period of time.

e-on software provides a line of Vue products for home users (Vue 5 Easel, Esprit and Pro Studio) as well as a set of high-end solutions designed for the professional CG market (Vue 5 Infinite, Ozone and integrated rendering solutions). Vue 5 Easel is specifically designed for digital artists and hobbyists looking for a simple introduction to 3D.

Vue 5 Easel is the only application under $100 that carries Global Illumination. Thanks to an even easier to use version of EasyGI (Vue 5 Esprit Global Illumination technique), the application takes care of all the obscure illumination parameters.

Vue 5 Easel is available for the Macintosh OS X and Windows 2000 as a download version. Vue 5 Easel is initially available in English and Japanese. German and French versions will follow. Physical products will be added in the store shortly, retailing at $99. Vue dEsprit 4 owners can upgrade to Vue 5 easel at $49 and $59, respectively.
