VOOZ, the creator of PUCCA and BRB International are teaming up to breathe life into CANIMAL, an original television series aimed a pre-school target audience. This is the first time teams from VOOZ and Screen 21 -BRB’s creative boutique- have joined forces on a project, set to be officially presented this week in London during the Brand Licensing Europe and at MIPCOM JR in Cannes. CANIMAL will premier at the end of next year around the world. The TV Series has a spectacular design concept and brings to the small screen – with a clever dose of humor-- the daily experiences of the smallest members of the household as they discover the world around them.

CANIMAL shows us the world (in 52 five-minute episodes) from the perspective of some very peculiar, original animals that find something new and worthy of attention in each and every object. For a Canimal, a curious and somewhat naughty cartoon gnome-like figure in the shape of a tin can, the most common places or the simplest activity become a constant and entertainingly gripping experiment.

The backgrounds and ambiences of a modern city of today are done with real images – from children’s environments – and the characters are designed in 3D animation and perfectly integrated into the colorful scenes. In CANIMAL, a varied cast of small gnome-like characters -with the face of a cat, dog …-,  appear in our world when there is no human nearby, behaving like children.

VOOZ and BRB  have jointly decided to establish a totally original and innovative licensing program – ‘fashionable, trendy and cute’-- months before the launch of the series. They are currently in talks concerning categories such as textiles and fashion accessories (bags, watches, jewelry), video games and mobile phones, stuffed animals, collectibles and bedroom decorative items, with a powerful outlay for development as a long-term. CANIMAL is aiming for LIFE STYLE BRAND for mom, kids and family. The worldwide launch is set for the third trimester of 2010.
