London based creative house VooDooDog has recently completed two animated sequences within the feature film “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” directed by Edgar Wright and starring Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
The Manga style animation sequences directed by VooDooDog were based on Bryan Lee O' Malley's graphics novels and illustrate the flash backs of Ramona V. Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) describing her exes who stand between Scott and true happiness.
VooDooDog also worked closely with Oscar Wright, the films concept designer, creating the graphics within the film and the main title.
Emmy nominated VooDooDog, based in London, was set up in 2003 by Creative Director Paul Donnellon and Managing Director / Producer David Z.Obadiah.
“Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”, An epic of epic epicness, tells the amazing story of one romantic slacker's quest to power up with love.
“Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” a Universal Release is on general theatrical release in the USA & Canada from 13th August 2010.
