DreamWorks Animation has lined up its voice cast for RISE OF THE GUARDIANS, reports Variety. When the project was originally announced, Leonardo DiCaprio was set to voice the lead Jack Frost, but now STAR TREK star Chris Pine will be taking over the role. Hugh Jackman is the Bunnymund (aka The Easter Bunny), Alec Baldwin is North (aka Santa Claus), Isla Fisher is Tooth (aka The Tooth Fairy) and Jude Law is Pitch (aka The Boogieman).

Peter Ramsey (MONSTERS VS ALIENS: MUTANT PUMPKINS FROM OUTER SPACE) will direct with William Joyce, whose forthcoming book series THE GUARDIANS OF CHILDHOOD is what the film is based on. Guillermo del Toro and Michael Siegel will be exec producing with Christina Steinberg and Nancy Bernstein on as producers.

Adapted by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire, the story brings together the childhood legends to stop Pitch from taking over the world and destroying children's hopes, beliefs and imagination.

The film is set to hit theaters on Nov. 21, 2012.
