The Weinstein Company has secured the North American and South African rights to Chinese martial arts flick, REIGN OF ASSASSINS, starring Michelle Yoeh, reports VARIETY.

Lion Rock Prods 's John Woo and Terence Chang produced alongside Galloping Horse Film and TV Productions and Media Asia. Fortissimo Films reps the international rights.

Woo co-directed the film with Su Chao-pin (SILK). Yeoh plays an assassin who falls in love with the son of a warrior murdered by her gang. The film also stars Jung Woo-sung, Kelly Lin, Barbie Hsu and Wang Xueqi.
