Wimpy Kids 3 Readying Dog Days of Next Summer
Twentieth Century Fox has set a date for the third DIARY OF A WIMPY KID film, reports Variety. DOG DAYS will arrive next summer on Aug. 3.
The new film based on the third book in the series will find Greg Heffley dealing with the many common adventures and mishaps of summer vacations.
David Bowers, who directed the second film in the Fox 2000 series, will return as director along with producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson. Maya Forbes and Wally Wolodarsky adapted Jeff Kinney's book. The cast of Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Devon Bostick, Rachael Harris and Steve Zahn are all set to come back as well.
