On Saturday, August 25, at 9:00 pm, SCI FI Channel presents the premiere of MEGA SNAKE, the Saturday Night Original movie featuring a special appearance by Feedback (a.k.a. Matthew Atherton), last year's winner on the SCI FI original series WHO WANTS TO BE A SUPERHERO?

MEGA SNAKE, starring Michael Shanks (STARGATE SG-1), is the tale of a serpent with supernatural powers unwittingly unleashed upon the residents of a small town. Before long, the reptile grows to a gargantuan size, wreaking havoc on everything in its path. When the snake threatens the lives of a group of children at a carnival, it's up to Feedback to save the day.

Now in its second season, WHO WANTS TO BE A SUPERHERO? is a competition reality series challenging 10 finalists to create their very own superhero alter ego, as they live together in a secret lair under the watchful eye of Stan Lee. The winning superhero is immortalized in a new comic book created by Lee and published by Dark Horse Comics, and is featured in a SCI FI Channel original movie. This year's winner will also see his/her character turned into an action figure by Shocker Toys. WHO WANTS TO BE A SUPERHERO? airs Thursdays at 9:00 pm.
