Warner Bros. Rides to Scorpio Races
Warner Bros. has bought the rights to Maggie Stiefvater's YA fantasy THE SCORPIO RACES, reports Heat Vision. KatzSmith Prods.' David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith will produce.
Based on the Celtic myth of flesh-eating horses, the story involves an annual race of the creatures and the love affair that develops between a young horse trainer and the competition's first female entrant.
Sarah Schechter will oversee for Warners, while Jay Ireland will do so for KatzSmith.
