Wall Street 2 Doesn't Sleep at Box Office

Fox's WALL STREET: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS brought in the cash in the #1 slot at the U.S. box office for the weekend of Sept. 24-26, 2010. With vfx for Crazy Horse Effects and With A Twist Studio, the Oliver Stone sequel earned $19 million.

Warner Bros.' LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS: THE OWLS OF GA'HOOLE flew into second. With animation from Animal Logic, the Zack Snyder animated adventure nested $16.3 million.

Warner Bros.' THE TOWN slipped from #1 to #3, stealing another $16 million. Ben Affleck's crime thriller has brought in $49.1 million.

Screen Gems' EASY A seduced an additional $10.7 million in fourth. The teen comedy has a cume of $32.8 million.

Debuting in fifth, Buena Vista's YOU AGAIN collected $8.3 million.

Universal's DEVIL possessed $6.48 million in sixth, With vfx from Custom Film Effects, the first installment in M. Night Shyamalan's NIGHT CHRONICLES series has made $21.7 million to date.

Screen Gems' RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE unearthed an additional $4.9 million. With visual effects from Anibrain, Mr. X, Paul Jones Effects Studio and XYZ-RGB, the zombie flick has a cume of $52 million.

Lionsgate's ALPHA AND OMEGA howled in eighth with another $4.7 million. With animation from Crest Animation Prods., the wolf pack picture has brought in a total of $15.1 million.

Screen Gems' TAKERS boasted an additional $1.65 million. The heist flick has a cume of $54.9 million.

Warner Bros.' INCEPTION rounded out the top ten, collecting another $1.25 million. With vfx from Double Negative, Christopher Nolan's hit thriller has a cume of $287 million.
