Walden Media has picked up the rights to Jeff Brown’s popular children’s series FLAT STANLEY, reports Deadline.com. The series follows the two-dimensional Stanley who is flattened by a bulletin board over his bed, which falls on him during the night. Walden plans to make it a live-action film using vfx to make the title character flat.

Wild Things Prods.’ John Carls will produce. Walden Media CEO Michael Bostick and SVP Evan Turner are shepherding the project and taking it to writers.
