Universal Drops Wicked Lovely Adaptation
Universal is in a turnaround mood. Following its decision to put OUIJA into turnaround, Universal has put the adaptation of Melissa Marr's WICKED LOVELY into turnaround, reports Heat Vision. Mary Harron (AMERICAN PSYCHO) was set to direct with Wild West Picture Show Prods.' Vince and Valeri Vaughn and Peter Billingsley. The book follows a teenage girl who can see faeries, which leads the faerie king to want her as his wife. Caroline Thompson (EDWARD SCISSORHANDS) adapted the script.
