Trio Joins the Cast of Battle: Los Angeles
Columbia's BATTLE: LOS ANGELES had added Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Pena and Bridget Moynahan to the cast, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Aaron Eckhart will stars in the sci-fi flick, which begins filming this fall.
Directed by Jonathan Liebesman follows a Marine staff sergeant (Eckhart) and his new platoon as the try to repel an alien invasion on the Los Angeles streets.
Rodriguez takes on the role of Crpl. Adriana Santos. Pena will play a survivor whose son the team rescues. Moynahan will be a veterinarian.
Original Film's Neal Moritz is producing, while Ori Marmur shepherding for the studio. Doug Belgrad and Sam Dickerman will shepherd for Columbia.
