In 2001, Brian Singer was developing a feature based on BATTLESTAR GALACTICA with Tom DeSanto, but the Sept. 11th attacks derailed the project to sneak attack plotlines. HitFix.com is reporting that Universal Pictures and SyFy are still eager to bring the property to the big screen. The studio is in talks with Singer to produce and possibly direct the film. How this project will be connected to the BATTLESTAR TV series and its spinoff CAPRICA is yet to be known.
