John C. Reilly and Mary-Louise Parker are in talks to join RED, based on the Wildstorm/DC Comics miniseries, according to the Heat Vision blog. Robert Schwentke is directing.

In the Summit Ent. project, a retired black-ops master (Bruce Willis) must defend himself against younger, tech-savvy assassins sent to murder him. Reilly would take the role of a paranoid retired CIA agent and Parker would be Willis's love interest. Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren have already enlisted.

Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing with DC's Gregory Noveck and Jake Myers exec producing. Jon and Erich Hoeber penned the screenplay.
