Zenescope's comic THE PIPER is set for a big screen adaptation from Persistent Entertainment, Pantry Films and Zenescope Entertainment, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. This dark take on the Pied Piper tale follows a high school band geek who unwillingly gains the manipulative powers of the Piper, which he has little control over.

Persistent exec Aaron Cruze, who brought in the property, will oversee the development. Persistent head Matthew Rhodes and Pantry Films head Dan Keston will produce. Zenescope's Joe Brusha and Ralph Tedesco will exec produce alongside Sleeping Giant Entertainment's Dave Brown.
