Italian production company Colorado Film is working on an adaptation of Licia Troisi's CHRONICLES OF THE OVERWORLD series, reports VARIETY. The fantasy series follows Nihal, the last of his race, who plots his revenge against those that slaughtered his kind.

With a budget of 30 million Euros, the 3-D English-lingo film is one of the biggest European fantasy productions to date. Colorado's managing director Alessandro Usai plans to pitch the project to Hollywood partners.
