Scott Stewart and Gus Krieger's PSY-OPS has been picked up by Bold Films, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Stuart Maschwitz, who was the former head of vfx house The Orphanage, is set to direct.

The story follows a secret team of U.S. military psychological operatives that encounter something unimaginable in the Amazon Basin. The style of the film has been described as a cross between PREDATOR and BLACK HAWKW DOWN.

Stewart, who was also a co-founder of The Orphanage, will produce with Bold's David Lancaster and Michel Litvak. Gary Michael Walters is the exec producer.
