Producer/writer Frank Beddor revealed plot details for the upcoming MONOPOLY adaptation to the LOS ANGELES TIMES.

The story follows a pitiful real estate agent who is however obsessed with playing Monopoly. In an effort to break the world record of playing the board game for 70 straight days, he falls asleep and wakes up in the colorful Monopoly City, where he has to go up against the wicked Parker Brothers in a real world game of Monopoly.

Ridley Scott is set to direct.
