Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec, the creators of the TV series HAPPY TOWN and OCTOBER ROAD, have been hired to write MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE IV, reports VARIETY. The Paramount Pictures production will be produced by Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams. Applebaum and Nemec are new to the feature world but they previously served as co-exec producers on Abrams' Bad Robot's ALIAS. The return of Cruise as Ethan Hunt is set for 2011.
