Despite its financial woes, MGM is working on an OUTER LIMITS theatrical adaptation, reports VARIETY. The studio has paid mid-six figures to Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan to write the script. The FEAST writing team will hand over the first draft in October.

Jon Shestack, Jeremy Stein and original series producer Mark Victor are producing. Cale Boyter is shepherding for MGM.
