Magnolia Pictures picks up the U.S. rights to Neil Marshall's CENTURION, reports VARIETY. Magnolia plans to release the sword-and-sandal action flick this summer via their Magnet arm.

The second century-set film follows the Scottish Pict tribe's battle against Roman invaders. Michael Fassbender, Dominic West, David Morrissey and Olga Kurylenko star.

Pathe Prods., the U.K. Film Council, Celador Films Production produced the film.
