Marti Noxon, a writer and producer on MAD MEN, will write the FRIGHT NIGHT remake for DreamWorks, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Noxon has experience with vampires having previously worked on BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and ANGEL.

In the 1985 original horror comedy from writer/director Tom Holland, a teenager comes to believe that his next-door neighbors are bloodsuckers.

Michael De Luca, Michael Gaeta and Alison Rosenzweig will produce. Mark Sourian is shepherding for DreamWorks.
