Damien Chazelle (GUY AND MADELINE ON A PARK BENCH) has been hired to write a sequel to THE LAST EXORCISM, reports Heat Vision. Strike Ent. and Studio Canal are producing the new film.
The first film centered on an Evangelical preacher who brings in a film crew to shoot the last exorcism he plans to perform.
Production will start in the fall.
The original was directed by Daniel Stamm and written by Andrew Gurland and Huck Botko.
