SuperHeroHype.com reports that KICK-ASS scribe Jane Goldman is penning a draft of X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (THOR) were previously announced as writing a draft as well. The 20th Century Fox production is being directed by Matthew Vaughn, who previously worked with Goldman on STARDUST and KICK-ASS.

The film will follow the early days of Professor X and Magneto forming the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters.

The film is set to hit theaters on June 3, 2011.
