Warner Bros. has hired GREEN LANTERN scribes Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim to pen the treatments for both GREEN LANTERN 2 and THE FLASH, reports HEAT VISION. As part of their agreement, they will write one of the two scripts.

Martin Campbell is currently filming GREEN LANTERN in New Orleans. Ryan Reynolds is playing the title character, a member of the intergalactic force known as the Green Lantern Corps.

THE FLASH film has been in development hell for years. At one point Reynolds had been attached to star as the speedy superhero. Recently DC Comics brought back a version of the character to comics in a big way. The film will be based on this new take on Barry Allen.
