Takao Saito's GOLGO 13, the longest-running manga in history, is getting an English-language big screen treatment from Samuel Hadida’s Davis Film, writes The Hollywood Reporter. The 40-year-old manga has already inspired two live-action films, two animated films, a TV series and multiple videogames in Japan. Described as a cross between Dirty Harry and James Bond, Golgo 13 is a gun for hire with elite combat skills.
