20th Century Fox has moved RISE OF THE APES back to the summer, reports ComingSoon.net. Fox had set the film for a summer release then pushed it to Thanksgiving, but now has set its release for August 5, 2011. Directed by Rupert Wyatt, the prequel to PLANET OF THE APES chronicles how experimentations on chimps leads to an advanced species that fights for equal rights. Film stars James Franco, Freida Pinto and Andy Serkis.
