Disney has picked up the rights to Lauren Kate's YA novel FALLEN, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. The first book in the series, released this week, follows an outsider girl who develops a crush on two fallen angels.

Mayhem Prods.' Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray are the producers. Oren Aviv and Todd Murata will shepherd for Disney with Victor Constantino doing the same for Mayhem.
