We bid farewell to March and our focus on new frontiers with Tito Belgrave's fascinating look at "Photogrammetry: A Study of Image-Based Modeling." IBM has caused quite a stir with the ability of artists to explore 3D objects and scenes captured from real world photography, and Belgrave breaks it down nicely. Meanwhile, April kicks off our timely emphasis on gaming, what with GDC behind us and E3 just down the road. Karen Raugust answers the burning question, "What's Up With Wireless?" There is a lot of potential for 3D gaming and other animated content, and Raugust examines how the foreign markets are evolving and why the U.S. continues to lag behind.

And even though we're in the midst of MIP-TV 2004, which AWN is comprehensively covering from France in a series of special newsletters, VFXWorld is also on top of the latest news. For instance, Mary Ann Skweres has the scoop on Rhythm & Hues starting vfx work on the Disney/Walden Media co-production of C.S. Lewis' THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE. We'll be there every step of the way.
