After dropping out of the runaway train flick two weeks ago, Denzel Washington was returned to the cast of 20th Century Fox's UNSTOPPABLE, reports VARIETY. Washington has worked out problems with Fox over salary concessions. When the budget reached $90 million, Fox requested that Scott cut $3 million and Washington cut $4 million from their upfront paychecks. Washington declined and walked. The Tony Scott picture will now restart preproduction in Pittsburgh.

Written by Mark Bomback, Washington will play a train engineer who boards a runaway train to help its young conductor (STAR TREK's Chris Pine) stop the locomotive from spilling its toxic load.
