Del Toro Reteams for Julia’s Eyes
Guillermo Del Toro will produce the Spanish-language thriller JULIA’S EYES with his THE ORPHANAGE collaborator, Rodar y Rodar reports Variety.
JULIA’S EYES will be helmed by Guillem Morales, also the co-screenwriter with Oriol Paulo. Cameras will begin rolling Oct 5. Rodar's Joaquin Padro and Mar Targarona will produce as co-financed by Focus Features Intl.
THE ORPHANAGE star Belen Rueda and Lluis Homar (BROKEN EMBRACES) will costar. JULIA’S EYES tells the story of a woman slowly going blind as she investigates the death of her twin sister.
Universal Pictures Intl. will release JULIA’S EYES in Spain, Latin America and France.
