Cinesite Expands 3D Team

Multi-award winning artist Virgil Manning has joined Cinesite (Europe) as senior character animator. Animator Jason McDonald, modeler Stephane Paris and 3D manager Claire McGrane are recent additions to the 3D team as well.

Manning recently returned from two years at ILM, where he worked on the dragon sequence on HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE and STAR WARS: EPISODE III — REVENGE OF THE SITH. Manning has earned numerous awards, including a Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special for his work on WALKING WITH DINOSAURS.

McDonald is currently working as lead animator on the Disney/Spyglass superhero dog movie, UNDERDOG.

Paris’ credits include KING KONG, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, ALIEN VS PREDATOR and HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN.

McGrane has returned to Cinesite after three years working at Framestore CFC as head of the Digital Lab.
